Welcome to Drinks Delivery Group ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our website ([www.theddg.co.uk](https://www.theddg.co.uk)) and services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. Age Restrictions

- We only sell alcohol, vapes, e-cigarettes, cigarettes, and tobacco products to customers who meet the legal age requirement.

- If the recipient appears under 25, we will request valid identification before completing the delivery.

- If valid ID is not provided, we reserve the right to refuse delivery, and a cancellation fee may apply.

 

 2. Service Area

- We deliver to Crawley, Horsham, Horley, East Grinstead, Redhill, Lingfield, Ardingly, Forest Row & Haywards Heath.

- Orders placed outside these areas will be fulfilled but will be sent via two day courier.

 

3. Delivery Policy

- Customers can book delivery slots, with most opting for same-day delivery.

- We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., traffic, weather). However, if we are more than an hour late beyond the booked delivery slot, we will offer a £10 credit on our website.

- ID verification is required for age-restricted products.

 

4. Payment Methods

- Payments can be made directly through our website.

- Customers who place orders via phone or message can pay via Bank Transfer (BACS) or PayPal if they wish.

 

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

- Cancellations are free unless less than 3 hours remain before delivery, in which case a £5 fee applies. Rescheduling that delivery will be free of charge.

- Customers may return a product for a refund within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is intact, undamaged, and in its original condition.

- Rescheduling deliveries is free of charge.

 

6. Product Condition and Proof of Delivery

- We self-deliver all products and take images upon delivery to ensure items arrive in perfect condition.

- If a product is missing from an order, customers must report it immediately upon delivery.

- Customers must check their goods whilst the delivery is taken place, claims after the delivery driver has left will not be processed.

 

7. Liability and Disclaimer

- We are not liable for any misuse of our products.

- We are not responsible for damages or delays beyond our control.

 

8. Changes to These Terms

- We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

9. Refunds and Returns
- Refunds will be processed within 3-5 working days, depending on your bank. To initiate a return, please contact us via any contact method listed on our website. Once the return request is approved, we will arrange a collection for a £5 fee, deducted from the order total. You can also drop off the return at our store free of charge for a full refund.

10. Chargebacks
- In the event of a chargeback initiated by the customer’s payment provider, we reserve the right to recover any fees associated with the chargeback, as well as any additional costs incurred in resolving the dispute.

- If a chargeback is filed, we may suspend or cancel the customer's access to future orders until the matter is resolved.

11. Delivery Failures
- If you are not home during a delivery attempt, we will attempt to contact you using the contact details provided to resolve the situation and rearrange delivery at a time that suits you. Each missed delivery attempt will incur a £5 charge. - We will wait up to 10 minutes for you to arrive before requesting that you reschedule.

- We can leave your order in a safe place, but this must be provided in writing and is at your risk. Proof of delivery will be captured via images, whether the order is handed to you or left in a safe place.

12. Customer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information, including your full address and contact details. Incorrect information that leads to delivery failure will result in a £5 rescheduling fee.

- You are also responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery or for providing safe place instructions or additional fees may incur.

13. Force Majeure
- We will not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling orders due to events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or any other unforeseeable circumstances.

- We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers and offer alternatives if possible, but we are not responsible for any consequences arising from these events.

14. Privacy Policy
- Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle your data.

15. Free Delivery

- Delivery will be free for all orders above £40 basket value.

- Orders that come to a value of less than £40 basket value will be liable to a £3.99 delivery fee.

Referral Program Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility To participate in our referral program, customers must sign up for an account on the theddg.co.uk website. There are no other eligibility requirements.

2. Referral Rewards

  • Referrers will receive £5 site credit for every referred customer who places their first order on the website.

  • The referrer will only receive the £5 credit after the referred customer’s first order is successfully completed.

  • There is no limit on the number of referrals a referrer can make, and they will receive £5 for each successful first order made by the person they refer.

3. Referred Customer Rewards

  • Each referred customer will receive a £5 voucher to use on their first order with us.

4. Referral Limitations

  • Referrals are limited to one per household. For example, if Person A refers Person B, Person A will receive the £5 credit, but if Person A refers Person C and Person C lives in the same household as Person B, the referral credit will be invalid for Person C.

5. Reward Application

  • Rewards will be automatically applied to the referrer’s account. If for any reason the reward is not applied, the referrer can contact us, and we will manually apply the reward.

6. Reward Expiration

  • The £5 site credit received by the referrer will expire 12 months from the date it is applied to their account.

7. Referral Process

  • Once a customer signs up, they will be able to view their unique referral link on the website. They are free to promote this link wherever they wish.

  • However, any offensive content linked to the referral program or the referral link may lead to legal action and could result in the termination of the customer’s participation in the referral program.

8. General Terms

  • Referral credits and rewards are non-transferable and have no cash value.

  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel the referral program at any time without prior notice.
